Epic Games released the Fortnite beta for Android exclusively on Samsung devices first, back in August. Later it was available through invite for select users of other smartphones. Now the game is available for all the compatible smartphones without an invite. It already said that the devices should run Android 8.0 or higher, should pack 3GB RAM or higher and require compatible GPU – Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher.
The game is not available via Google Play, so you need to side-load the Fortnite installer from the Epic Games website. The game is free, but there are in-app purchases for items and other things, just like PUBG.
