Xiaomi-backed Black Shark has announced that the Black Shark 2 smartphone succcessor of the Black Shark Gaming Phone that was introduced in China back in April this year, will go official on October 23rd. The phone already got certified by TENAA with model number AWM-A0, revealing a veritical dual rear camera arrangement and rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It also revealed RGB logo on the back.
There is a large speaker grill on the front. Geekbench listing revealed Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of RAM and Android 8.1 (Oreo). TENAA listing revealed a 5.99-inch display, so the company could retain the FHD+ display and it has a 4000mAh battery, same as the predecessor.
The dimensions of the phone is 160 × 75.26 × 8.7mm, which is almost same as the predecessor, but this is slightly thinner. It will likely retain the liquid cooling tech, Dual Speakers and Gamepad support. We should know all the details when the phone goes official next week.
