As promised recently, Realme has started rolling out ColorOS 5.2 stable OTA update in India. This brings several new features single swipe notification dismiss, Headset icon in status bar, Smart Bar for faster multitasking, Game Space, Recorder, and lots more.
The Realme 1 ColorOS 5.2 update has build number CPH1861EX_11.A.25, is 2.11GB in size and includes Android security patch for October 5, 2018. The company said that this is staged roll out, which will complete by December 3rd, if no critical bugs are found. Check out the complete changelog below.
System
- Single swipe notification dismiss.
Now you can swipe from left to right to dismiss the notification.
- Headset icon in status bar.
A headset icon in status bar will be shown when you plug-in the headset.
- Smart Bar for faster multitasking.
You can add apps you use often into “Smart Bar” for faster app launching and multitasking.
- Optimized reminders when Developer Options, Accessibility Mode and Device Manager on.
Flashing bar, on-going notification and text at the upper right corner for “Developer Options”, “Accessibility” and “Device & Privacy” have been deleted.
Gaming
- Added “Game Space” to for performance mode, do not disturb, game acceleration, and more.

- Function to keep games running with screen off.
Video
- Switch to audio playback mode in the video player for background playback of MV.
Album
- “Video Editing” adds fast and slow speed adjustments, extra filters and tunes, and more.
Tools
- “Timer” adds custom timing modes for multiple activities.
- “Recorder” allows to add markers during recording or playback.
- Added “Smart Scan” to translate text by photo.
Google Assistant
- Long press power button for 0.5s to launch Google Assistant.
UI
- New Material Design icons.
