Fitbit OS 3.0 brings support for more third-party apps, on-device quick logging, Dashboard and more

Fitbit has introduced a new update to the FitbitOS which is its operating system that serves up all your apps, insights, and features. The update is aimed at bringing improvements and new features that make your watch experience more personal and customizable. The major changes include an upgraded Fitbit Today dashboard, on-device quick logging for food and weight, goal-based exercise modes.

It brings new apps like TRX, Noonlight, GOLD’S AMP for Fitbit, Fitbark, and more. The Dashboard comes with new tiles, like sleep, weight, water, and food. Plus, with quick-logging on-device, keeping track of your weight and water intake is now easier than ever. The Fitbit app gallery has gotten a major upgrade too. New health and fitness apps help you to better stay on task, accountable and motivated throughout the day. The TRX app offers quick, effective, and guided workouts.

The FitBark app to view your pets daily stats side-by-side with your own, enjoy the Gold’s Gym fitness expertise with GOLD’S AMP for Fitbit, and even get emergency help with Noonlight, all right from your wrist. Thanks to the goal-based exercise modes, you can now set goals and get real-time stats during your workout for 15+ exercises including running, biking, yoga, and swimming. The new update to the FitbitOS is available only in the US, the company didn’t reveal details regarding global availability.
