Vivo has announced U1, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the new ‘U series’ in China. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio waterdrop notch display, is powered by Snapdragon 439 12nm SoC, has up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.5, comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for potraits, as well as an 8-megapixel front camera with support for face unlock. It has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a 4030mAh battery.

The Vivo U1 comes in Midnight Black, Purple and Aurora Red colors, is priced at 799 yuan (US$ 117 / Rs. 8,430 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1199 yuan (US$ 176/ Rs. 12,645 approx.). It is already on sale in China.
