Last week Xiaomi confirmed that it will launch the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India on February 28th, even Flipkart has started teasing the phone. It opened registrations to buy tickets for the event on the same day, but it sold out quickly. Today it has opened the 2nd round of registrations on mi.com. The ticket costs Rs. 480, and the company says that it will offer goodies worth Rs. 1500 for all the attendees.
After registration is complete, those who are eligible to get a ticket based on top Mi Community contribution based on points/user groups will get an email & SMS with a link to purchase the ticket on 23rd February. Venue details will be shared with the ones who have purchased a ticket, and the company will not offer travel/lodging arrangements.
The Redmi Note 7 comes in Black, Blue and Purple colors and was introduced in China starting at 999 yuan (US$ 147 / ₹ 10,390 approx.). We should know the price in India when it is launched next thursday.
