Earlier this week, Google launched the latest version if its Android Operating System. Most of the Android smartphone users are eagerly waiting for the Gingerbread update on their device, but Samsung Galaxy S owners has a reason to cheer. Samsung Mobile India recently tweeted that the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update will be available for all the Galaxy S users.
Samsung Galaxy S is a popular Android powered smartphone which features a 4 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with HD (720p) video recording, 3G connectivity, 32 GB expandable memory and much more. Galaxy S is also the world’s first Wi-Fi direct certified smartphone.
Samsung Mobile India has not mentioned the exact date for the roll out of the Android 2.3 update. Google Nexus One and LG Optimus One are also expected to get the Android 2.3 update soon.
