Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Benchmarks – Snapdragon 675 11nm Mobile Platform

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India last week starting at Rs. 13,999. We already brought you the first impressions and the camera samples, here we have the benchmarks.  The phone is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 64-bit 11nm Mobile Platform that has two Cortex A76-based Kryo 460 CPUs clocked at 2GHz per core and other six Cortex A55 Kryo 460 CPUs are clocked at 1.7GHz per core, comes with Adreno 612 GPU with support for Open GL ES 3.2, Open CL 2.0, as well as Vulkan graphics and up to 6GB of RAM, however we have the 4GB RAM version. It runs Android 9.0 (Pie).

At the launch the company said that it is 55% faster than the Snapdragon 636 that powers the Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Redmi Note 6 Pro. Thanks to the larger Kryo 460 cores based on new Cortex A76, this is faster than the Snapdragon 710 that uses Kryo 360 larger cores based on Cortex A75. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.

AnTuTu Benchmark 7

It scored 1,80,934 points in the AnTuTu Benchmark 7 and grabbed the top spot beating the Vivo V15 Pro that is powered by the same SoC.

Geekbench 4 Single-Core

It scored 2377 points in the Geekbench 4 Single-Core benchmark and grabs the second spot, behind the V15 Pro, but the scores are way better than the Snapdragon 660-powered phones.

Geekbench 4 Multi-Core

It scored 6592 points in the Geekbench 4 Multi-Core benchmark and grabs the second spot, again behind the Vivo V15 Pro.

3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited

It scored 24826 points in the 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited GPU benchmark.

GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen

It clocked 2207 frames or 39 fps in the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen benchmark.

GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan OnScreen

It clocked 1220 frames or 20 fps in the GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan OnScreen benchmark, almost similar as Vivo V15 Pro.

Basemark OS II

In the Basemark OS II benchmark it scored 3094 points and grabbed the top spot.

Basemark X 1.1

In grabbed the second spot in the Basemark X 1.1 benchmark, behind the Vivo V15 Pro.

Looking at the scores, it is clear that the new Snapdragon 675 SoC is better than the Snapdragon 660 that some offer in the price range, however the GPU benchmark scores are not satisfactory since it is lower than some of the Snapdragon 660-powered devices with Adreno 512. These are just synthetic benchmark scores. Check out the real life performance test results in the comple review here.
