HTC Wildfire gets Android 2.2 FroYo update in UK

The HTC Wildfire has finally got the update to Android 2.2 FroYo in UK. The new Build number for the update is 2.22.405.1.Make sure you back up your phone before applying the update

Here is the changelog for the update

• USB tethering
• Possibility of installing applications to SD card (if supported by the application)
• Native support for Activesync Exchange (email, contacts and calendar sync) and security policies
• Enhanced Camera application
• Enhanced Bluetooth support
• Speed and stability improvements
• Multiple keyboard languages
• Wi-Fi Hotspot tethering

Flash player and Live wallpapers won’t be available due to hardware restrictions. While the update is currently only available in UK. We are hoping it reaches other markets also soon.
