Xiaomi launched the Redmi 4 running MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), later the smartphone received Android 7.1 (Nougat) followed by MIUI 9 update. The company updated the smartphone to MIUI 10 Stable for the smartphone back in November. Now, the company has started rolling out Another update for the Redmi 4.
The Android Nougat based update comes as MIUI 10.3.1.0.NAMMIXM and weighs around 477 MBs in size. Xiaomi has not updated the Android security patch update here and it still runs on October 2018 security patch. The update brings several bug fixes and optimizations to the device. You can download the incremental update (from MIUI 10.1.1.0) here and flash it using the Updater method.
