ASUS Zenbook Editon 30, Zenbook Pro Duo and Zenbook Duo laptops announced

At the ongoing Computex 2019 event in Taipei, Asus unveiled a series of limited-edition devices to celebrate 30 years of innovation. The company announced a range of laptops including Zenbook Editon 30, Zenbook Pro Duo, Zenbook Duo, and also introduced ZenFone 6 Edition 30, Prime X299 Edition 30 motherboard, Prime Utopia and ZenScreen Touch monitor.

Zenbook Edition 30

Asus announced three laptops at the event namely Zenbook Edition 30, Zenbook Pro Duo and Zenbook Duo. Zenbook Edition 30 that carries the model number UX334FL is a limited-edition laptop and is a celebration of 30 years of ASUS innovation. The laptop’s lid is encased in luxurious Pearl White genuine leather along with Rose Gold anodized diamond-cut edges and trim bar.

Zenbook Edition 30 flaunts a 13.3-inch LED-backlit Full HD 16:9 NanoEdge display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, up to 95 percent screen-to-body ratio and 178-degree wide-view technology. It is powered by up to 8th generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 / Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM, up to 1TB PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD and runs on Windows 10 Pro operating system. This Zenbook also comes with upgraded ScreenPad 2.0 and the secondary display itself is a 5.65-inch FHD+ Super IPS display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0 and Dual Band Gigabit Wi-Fi. Regarding the physical ports, this laptop comes with 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C , 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A, 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x Standard HDMI, 1 x MicroSD card reader, 1 x Audio combo jack and 1 x DC-in. It is backed up by a 50Wh 3-cell lithium-polymer battery and promised up to 14 hours of battery life on a single charge.

ZenBook Pro Duo

Asus Zenbook Pro Duo carrying the model number UX581 comes with the new ScreenPad Plus which is a full-width secondary touchscreen and integrates with the laptop’s primary display. It is designed especially for content creators for enhancing the workflow and multitasking.

Zenbook Pro Duo flaunts a frameless 4K UHD OLED HDR display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and the secondary display is also a 4K touch screen with a resolution of 3840 x 1100 pixels. It is powered by up to 9th Generation Intel Core processors, up to 32GB RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, up to 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD. The connectivity options include Wi‑Fi 6 with Gig+ (802.11ax) and Thunderbolt 3.

Zenbook Duo

Asus Zenbook Duo carrying the model number UX481 is the younger brother to the Zenbook Pro Duo. Asus says that it is designed for creative requiring a smaller second-screen form factor. The laptop flaunts a 14-inch FULL HD NanoEdge display and the secondary screen i.e., ScreenPad Plus is 12.6-inch FULL HD panel. It is powered by up to an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. It also has Intel Wi-Fi 6 with Gig+ network support similar to the Zenbook Pro Duo.

Availability

Asus Zenbook Duo and Zenbook Pro Duo will be available for purchase starting the third quarter of 2019.
