JioMusic app was rebranded to JioSaavn with a new look and features last year. Recently, a new feature was rolled out where users could share JioSaavn songs to Facebook and Instagram Stories. In similar lines, the feature is now being extended to Snapchat and JioSaavn will now let you share songs to Snapchat and improve music discovery.
JioSaavn has partnered with Snapchat for cross-sharing of music on other apps and improve music discovery for users. The integration will allow users to share what they are listening on JioSaavn directly to Snapchat. The partnership also includes creative tools like Lenses and Filters, as well as content with Publisher Stories.
JioSaavn will use Snapchat’s ‘Snap Creative Kit’ which will allow developers to build custom stickers, filters, links, etc and these can be shared from within the JioSaavn app directly to the Snap camera. Till date, more than 200 apps have integrated with Snap Kit.
In case you missed, Snap Kit is the company’s developer kit which lets developers build products that integrate within Snapchat features. The Creative Kit will allow apps to integrate their own stickers, Filters, links and more right into the camera and also let Snapchatters bring highlights from other apps — like high scores, workout stats — right into the camera screen.
Apart from this, JioSaavn will produce Publisher Stories so that users can experience a front-row seat to their favorite JioSaavn artists and events on the Discover page — Snapchat’s content platform to the right of the camera.
Users might not see the Share to Snapchat option right away as it is rolling out gradually.
