Samsung Galaxy Note 10 rumoured to not have physical buttons and headphone jack

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 9 last year and as the Galaxy Note 10 is around the corner, it is the time of the year we see lots of leaks and rumors of the smartphone. According to the latest rumors, Samsung might get rid of the physical buttons like volume rockers, power key and ports like the headphone jack on the Galaxy Note 10.

The Galaxy Note 10 is rumored to not have a 3.5mm headphone jack and exterior buttons like the power ON/OFF, volume rockers, and Bixby might be replaced by a faux button i.e., capacitive or pressure-sensitive areas with some kind of raised bump or texture along the edge. This might not be like the Vivo Apex 2019 concept phone which does not have any buttons or ports.

A lack of 3.5mm headphone jack might create room for more battery capacity and also reduce the design complexity. The removal of physical buttons on the Note 10 might also make the phone more robust and not compromise on structural rigidity as the physical buttons tend to be the potential failure point in the unibody aluminum frames.

According to previous leaks, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 might be coming in 4 models with up to 6.75-inch display sizes. The company is said to launch 2 LTE models which will be featuring 6.28-inch and 6.75-inch display sizes. The next two models will be having the same camera specifications and display sizes, except that it will have 5G support.

It is to be seen how the move of getting rid of ports and physical buttons on the Galaxy Note 10 will be received by users. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 10 sometime in August 2019, and we should know more info then.
