ASUS Zenfone 6 was launched earlier last month at an event in Spain. The smartphone is launching as 6Z in India on June 19th, after a recent high court order not to use ‘Zen’ or ‘ZenFone’ due to the trademark issue. Now, Asus 6Z is receiving a new firmware update that brings Super Night mode to the ultrawide camera, optimizes translation strings in Setting, improves system stability and more.
The new firmware update changes the firmware to version 16.1210.1904.133 from 16.1210.1904.115 which was rolled out last month. In this update, ASUS finally brings Super Night mode to the ultrawide camera as well. Until now, it was not available for the ultrawide camera and this update also improves the camera rotation stability along with improvements to the system stability.
This update also optimizes the UI animation, sound quality from the headphone, translation strings in settings and adds an option to get weather displayed on the lock screen.
The full ROM package weighs 1.84 GB in size and if you do not want to wait for the OTA update to roll out, you can download the firmware from Asus’s official website and sideload it through Recovery method or ADB method.
