After renders of the Pixel 4 surfaced earlier this week, Google for the first has officially posted the official teaser of its upcoming flagship smartphone months before the launch. This shows a square camera bump with multiple cameras. It reveals two bigger cameras, and a small camera on the top along with LED flash. It also shows a key on the right and Google logo on the back.
The render also shows lacks of rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, so we can expect Google to go with a 3D face unlock option or an in-display fingerprint scanner. Earlier render revealed that the Pixel 4 might sport two speaker grills at the bottom and won’t come with the front firing speakers as seen on earlier Pixel devices.
Recent leak said that the Pixel 4 might integrate Project Soli radar chip, and a recent code in Android Q beta update revealed ‘Aware’ feature that revealed ‘Silence’ and ‘Skip’ gestures for hands-free controls. The Pixel 4 is also said to introduce automatic white balance adjustment based on the ambient brightness like Apple’s True Tone.
Regarding the specifications, we can expect Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB RAM, and the latest Android Q. We should know more details in the coming months, before it goes official later this year.
