Canon India has launched new models of ink tank printers in the PIXMA G Series line-up in India. The new PIXMA GM2070 is a Monochrome ink tank printer and PIXMA G6070 and PIXMA G5070 are colour ink tank printers. These come with new ink bottle design, two-way paper feed design and more.
PIXMA GM2070
The GM2070 is a single function monochrome ink tank printer and features a single refillable black ink tank. However, this printer also accepts colour ink cartridge for occasional prints and when the cartridge is removed, the printer snaps back into character as a single function monochrome printer that prints up to 8,300 documents off a single ink bottle refill.
This printer can print up to 8300 pages in Black and White, loads up to 350 sheets of paper and supports wireless printing. It has dimensions of 403 x 369 x 166mm and document ISO print speed of 13.0 ipm for Black and White and 6.8 ipm for Colour.
PIXMA G5070
The PIXMA G5070, on the other hand, is a single function colour ink tank printer and sports a 2-Line LCD panel which displays information like remaining ink levels, status etc. It has dimensions of 403 x 369 x 166 mm and Document ISO print speed of 13.0 ipm for Black and White and 6.8 ipm for Colour.
It can print up to 8300 pages in Black and White, up to 7300 pages in Colour and can load up to 350 sheets of paper.
PIXMA G6070 All-in-One
The G6070 is a multi function colour printer where users can print, scan and copy unlike the other two single function printers which supports only printing. This printer also comes with an Ethernet port and wireless support along with 2-Line LCD panel. Users can check the status of the printing, check ink levels and more right on the LCD panel.
It has dimensions of 403 x 369 x 195 mm and document ISO print speed of 13.0 ipm for Black and White and 6.8 ipm for colour. It can print up to 8300 pages in Black and White, up to 7700 pages in Colour and load up to 350 sheets of paper along with support for auto duplex printing.
With the new line-up of printers, Canon also introduces a new ink bottle design that drain readily into empty ink tanks, without having the need for squeezing during refilling process.
Pricing and Availability
Canon PIXMA GM2070 is priced at Rs. 14,299, PIXMA GM5070 at Rs. 17,399 and PIXMA G6070 at Rs. 21, 499. All the models are available from Canon authorised stores.
