PUBG Lite Beta for low-end PCs and laptops launched in India


Update: July 4, 2019 — PUBG Lite beta is now available for download for users in India from lite.pubg.com. The .exe file is just 64MB, but you need to download 2.4GB game files before you can play the game. It also prompts you to install Microsoft Visual C++, .NET Framework 4.5.2 and DirectX 11, and required graphic drivers during installation. Rewards for those who had preregistered will be given out soon, said the company.

Earlier After teaser last month PUBG Corporation has announced PUBG Lite beta testing for PC will be available in more regions in South Asia including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka starting from July 4th. India will also get Hindi language option.

Pre-registration started on 20 June and it will end on 3 July midnight in India. You can register by heading to lite.pubg.com. It has already reached 200K pre-registration, and those who registered will get 6 additional rewards that includes Black Scarf, Punk Glasses, Bloody Combat Pants, Gold PUBG Scarf, Yellow-Black Striped Long-sleeved Shirt and Red Sports Top that can be claimed after launch via code sent to your mail box on July 11th .

The minimum system requirements are Windows 7, 8 or 10 64-bit OS, Intel Core i3 CPU at 2.4GHz clock speed, 4GB RAM, Intel HD 4000 graphics and 4GB of disk space. To get the best experience, the recommended system requirements are Windows 7, 8 or 10 64-bit OS, Intel Core i5 CPU at 2.8GHz, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 graphics and 4GB of disk space.
