Amazfit GTR smartwatch with 24 days of battery life to be announced on July 16

Huami has announced that it will introduce a new Amazfit product in China on July 16th. The teaser shows ‘Time for the Grand Tour Racing’, which should be a smartwatch. Some reports say that it should be Amazfit GTR smartwatch. The company says that it will offer up to 24 days of battery life on a single charge and made of stainless steel, ceramic and aluminum. HUAWEI Watch GT that was introduced recently promises up to two weeks or 14 days of battery life with a 420mAh battery.

The company did not confirm any other features of the smartwatch, but it should be premium smartwatch, possibly with an AMOLED screen, support for multi-sport tracking, water-resistant body and a heart rate semspr. The company introduced its Smart Watch 2 with Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500, so the new GTR smartwatch could be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC that promises improved battery life.
