Amazon introduced its Prime service in India back in 2016 for Rs. 499 per year as a limited period offer and was later revised to its original price of Rs. 999 per year. Today, Amazon India has announced ‘Youth Offer’ where young adults can avail the Prime membership with 50 percent cashback i.e., Rs. 500 cashback on joining annual Prime membership of Rs. 999.
Users who are in the age range of 18 to 24 can avail Rs. 500 cashback by signing up for Prime and verifying their age on Amazon.in. 18 to 24 year users can navigate to ‘Try Prime’ on the Amazon app and sign up for the Prime annual membership from the ‘Youth Offer’ banner by paying Rs. 999 with any one of the electronic payment method like credit card, debit card, net banking or Amazon pay balance.
In order to avail 50 percent cash back, users have to verify their age by uploading their PAN card, a proof of mailing address and a photo and once it is verified, Rs. 500 cashback will be credited to user’s Amazon Pay balance account within 10 days.
To recall, Amazon Prime offers unlimited one-day and two-day delivery, discounted same-day, morning and scheduled deliveries in select cities with no minimum order size and items eligible for Prime benefits are marked with Prime logo and are fulfilled. The Prime membership also provides access to Prime Video and Prime Music where users can watch Amazon Original Series and Movies, as well as premium movies, music and TV shows from Indian and global content providers. Amazon Prime membership is also being bundled for free by telecom operators like Airtel, Jio, BSNL.
