Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 almost a year ago in India. The smartphone was a great value for money but had a few issues, such as screen bleeding but the company was very responsive towards addressing the issues. Users have been complaining about the touch issues on POCO F1, the company released various OTA updates to fix the issue but it seems like the issue is still not fixed. The company recently released MIUI 10.3.5.0 update for the POCO F1.
(1/2) Now that 10.3.5.0 stable has been released for POCO F1 and some improvements have been reflected in the build, we are looking to analyze devices that are facing 1) screen freezing 2) ghost touch 3) touch lags. We will need to collect some devices to further test.

(1/2) Happy Sunday! Just to clarify, we are not recalling POCOF1/POCOPHONEF1. We care about our users and product improvement and therefore use Xiaomi’s proactive practice to work with users to identify issues they face.

As per POCOPHONE Global head Alvin Tse, the company is looking for devices to analyze screen freezing, ghost touches, and touch lags. If you’re a POCO F1 user and facing any touch related issue on your device, you can contact the company at vzhaoxiaomi@gmail.com. The company wants you to send user ID, contact information, video/screenshots along with the description of the issue, the company will contact you in case the company feels that your device can help them in solving the issue.
POCO team enabled Widevine L1 support for the smartphone via OTA back in March but POCO users are still unable to play HD videos on Netflix, the company also rolled out 4K video recording at 60 fps and super slow-motion 960 fps video recording along with enhanced low light mode in January. Xiaomi has already confirmed that POCO F1 will get Android Q update in the future and was recently looking for testers to test Android Q-based MIUI Global Stable ROM.
