HMD Global launched Nokia 7.1 with HDR PureDisplay, Dual rear cameras with Zeiss optics and more last year. The leaks and rumours of its successor Nokia 7.2 have started surfacing and now, the first live image of Nokia 7.2 has surfaced showing off the rear of the device and revealing other details.

In a pre-briefing organized for some media and tech reporters by HMD Global, Nokia 7.2 was demonstrated to them ahead of the official launch next month. Joachim Kuss, head of communications for Zeiss Group says that he is overwhelmed with the camera capabilities of Nokia 7.2 and also tweeted a picture of Nokia 7.2, revealing the rear of the device.

Nokia 7.2 features a circular camera module that houses three cameras and a LED flash. It could be a combination of 48MP primary sensor + a wide-angle sensor + a depth-sensing unit. The photo also reveals a physical fingerprint scanner that is positioned below the circular camera module.

The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with HDR10 support, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It will likely be unveiled next month at IFA 2019 along with Nokia 6.2.
