Jio recently announced JioFiber home-internet service along with other service announcements. On similar lines, Jio has officially listed its new ‘JioGate’ app on the App Store and Google Play Store and it is an apartment security management service. This new service by Jio is said to take on other apps in this segment like MyGate, Apartment Adda, SmartGuard and more.
As the name suggests, JioGate is an apartment security management service and aims to streamline and simplify one’s gated community. Jio says that this app is a convenient solution to manage the entry and exit of visitors, daily staff, deliveries, cabs and more. The Security Management features of JioGate include visitor management wherein visitors can enter the apartment with just a passcode, domestic help management, e-Intercom wherein users can set up their mobile phone as an intercom, delivery management, and panic alert wherein the live location can be sent to automatically sent to the security guard and family.
Mumbai-based digital firm 3 Minds Digital‘s website reveals that it had created a presentation deck for JioGate and the final outcome was an aesthetic deck. It is still not clear when will the service go live or whether it is being tested at selected complexes.
