Vodafone launched ‘Vodafone Play’ app back in 2016 that offers Live TV, videos, movies, TV shows and music for Vodafone subscribers. Today, the company has officially launched ‘Vodafone Play’ mobile website to take on other player’s offering like Airtel XStream and Reliance Jio’s Jio TV.
Vodafone Play mobile website can be accessed via lite.vodafoneplay.in or http://vodafoneplay.in. The mobile website is similar to the app and offers Free Live TV, movies, music, video-on-demand in various languages like Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, English, Punjabi, and Bengali. The Live TV channels include Aaj Tak, 9xm, B4U Music, Zee TV, Discovery and more and also offers over 1.2 million songs in various languages.
It is available to Vodafone Idea subscribers and users have to enter their mobile number and validate it using an OTP to access the content. While users can enjoy most of the services that the Vodafone Play app offers on the mobile website, they will miss out on Chromecast support, offline access and availability to download content.
