Google released Android 10 for its Pixel phones and the Essential Phone also got the update. Xiaomi started recruitment for Android 10 based MIUI 10 testing last week in India, now the company has started rolling out the update to testers in India and China. Even though some say that it’s available for all the users, Mi Community Manager has confirmed that it’s available only for the testers.

Even though it says MIUI 10.3.17 Stable, it is only available for closed set of testers, and you can’t simply update the phone to Android 10 using recovery ROM, while the testers get the 2.2GB OTA update. However, others can flash using TWRP method mentioned here, which requires an unlocked bootloader.
In China the company has started testing Android 10 for Redmi K20, which will roll out for closed set of users, so we can expect the testing to start in India soon.
