Microsoft To Do app update brings new design, integration with Microsoft apps and services and more

Microsoft To-Do app replaced Wunderlist back in 2017 and the company aimed to bring the delightful, simple, and elegant daily task experience to the To-Do app. Now, Microsoft has started rolling out a new version of its To-Do app which includes a new design, access from wherever you are, and more integration with Microsoft apps and services.

The new version brings a new design with reduced header size, a wide range of backgrounds, including the Berlin TV tower that was a feature in Wunderlist, ability to choose a different background for every list, and more customisation options. Dark mode makes a way to the To-Do app now and is available across Android, Windows, Mac, and will be soon available to iOS.

Microsoft is also adding a new daily planner feature like Wunderlist wherein with the smart lists, users can see their planned or important tasks in one list, accomplish tasks with Smart suggestions etc. Users can take their lists with them wherever they are and on Windows or Android, they can toggle between their work and personal accounts. It syncs across all platforms, including Mac, iOS, Android, Windows, and the web.

Furthermore, users can set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to help make sure your lists are secured. The new centralized view allows users to flag messages to follow up and see them in the ‘Flagged Email’ list, view the tasks assigned with ‘Assigned to Me’ list and the new version also adds Cortona integration.
