3 days before OnePlus 7T and OnePlus TV launch: Everything we know so far!


The next OnePlus launch is few days away, the leaks and rumors are swirling, and the release of the teasers and trailers also gives us some clues as to what OnePlus might have in store for us with its new OnePlus 7T.

A few days back OnePlus sent out invites for the launch of its OnePlus 7T globally including India on September 26. The expectations for the launch of OnePlus 7T and OnePlus TV reached its peak already. In fact, the tickets for OnePlus 7T launch event that went on sale a couple of days back have been sold out on the very first day. ‘Gone under 7T seconds’ tweeted OnePlus India.

All said and done, we got those rumors and leaks together and came up with a list of things you can expect from the devices.

OnePlus 7T — All we know!

According to the official render, OnePlus 7T will improve upon the matte-frosted glass back panel and will sport a new smooth matte surface with a two-tone finish.

Regarding the optics, OnePlus 7T will sport triple rear cameras with 17mm – 26mm -51mm focal length housed in a circular module. It is likely to be a combination of the 48MP+16MP+12MP unit. The three cameras are arranged horizontally, and the dual-LED flash is positioned below them. Lastly, the renders also reveal the volume rockers on the left side and power on/off button and alert slider on the right side.

According to previous reports, OnePlus 7T is said to sport a 6.55-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a smaller notch this time and will also come with a 90Hz refresh rate this time just like the OnePlus 7 Pro. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC paired with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage / 8GB RAM with 256GB storage options and packs a 3800mAh battery.

OnePlus TV

OnePlus’ first TV is all about style, features, and minimalism! As of now, the company has already shared vital information, including 55-inch 4K QLED Panel, eight-speaker setup with 50W output features Google Assistant and more.

The OnePlus TV is expected to be powered by the MediaTek MT5670 processor. It also has a Gamma Color Magic chipset that offers dedicated picture optimization besides the regular picture processor.

Furthermore, the company also confirmed the support of Dolby Vision ultra-vivid imaging technology and Dolby Atmos immersive audio for its upcoming TV.

The OnePlus TV remote has brushed metal body, features dedicated buttons including Google Assistant, OnePlus-specific apps, a control pad, a menu button, and an elongated button for additional actions as well. Finally, the remote features a USB Type-C port on the bottom for charging.

Pop-up event!

Now, ahead of the announcement, OnePlus has announced that pop-up events will be held across eight cities in India starting from September 27, 2019.

The brand conducts pop-up events after each launch for users to come together and experience the new flagship for the first time, engage with other users and the OnePlus team and purchase the newly launched products to walk away with exclusive goodies.

OnePlus pop-ups will be held in Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. The pop-ups will start on September 27, 2019, at 2 PM and will go on till October 28. OnePlus users and enthusiasts will get a chance to experience the newly unveiled products by OnePlus including the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus TV.
