Samsung India has today launched ‘Samsung Finance+’ which is the world’s first digital lending platform, according to the company. It is a fully digital, universally accessible lending platform and is Samsung’s ‘Make for India’ initiative towards financial inclusion & Digital India.
Samsung Finance+ provides customers with financing opportunity for the purchase of Galaxy smartphones in India. It is a fully digital process and consumers go through a paperless journey with the in-store Samsung promoter assisting the customer through the process. Consumers have to log into the in-store Samsung Finance+ application on a Galaxy Tab and after filling their personal details for a simple KYC verification and credit scoring, they will get an offer screen on various Galaxy smartphones.
Samsung has partnered with DMI Finance to launch Samsung Finance+ in India. Samsung Finance+ is available over 5,000 stores in 30 cities across the country and the company plans to reach to 10,000 outlets in 100 cities by the end of 2019.
