The OnePlus 7T Pro for the first time features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It also has a 90Hz refresh rate that offers a smooth experience compared to 60Hz in most phones, which is a treat for gamers.

The company calls it FLUID AMOLED display. It has HDR10 support, Night Mode 2.0 to adjust the brightness down to 0.27 nits for better eye protection in complete darkness. Compared to OnePlus 7, the 7T features 31.46% smaller waterdrop notch.

The earpiece grill on the top doubles up as a speaker. It runs Android 10 with OxygenOS 10 with a slew of features including screen recorder, Zen Mode that will run for 20 minutes so you can receive only emergency calls and the company has promised India-only features such as smart SMS are coming soon.

It is powered by Snapdragon 855+ chipset under the hood, 8GB LPDDR4 RAM with RAM Boost feature and new Fanatic mode that blocks all notification & calls, restricts background to boost the game and stop secondary SIM to enhance the network.

In this device, the 16-megapixel front camera is placed on the notch featuring a Sony IMX471 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 1.0μm pixel size.  One the back there are cameras stacked horizontally, 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with a 7-element plastic lens with an aperture of f/1.6, OIS and EIS support, a 16-megapixel 117° Ultra Wide Angle Lens with an aperture of f/2.2 aperture and a 12 MP telephoto camera, producing 2x optical zoom at an aperture of f/2.2.

With OnePlus 7T, you can now shoot ‘Super Macro’, from as little as 2.5 centimeters away. The Nightscape mode is also available on both the primary lens and the ultra-wide-angle lens. For smoother videos, OnePlus features hybrid image stabilization (HIS) that combines both EIS and OIS.

OnePlus has retained the alert slider that is present on the right side. You can see the antenna bands since the phone has a metal frame. On the bottom, there is a dual SIM slot, USB Type-C port, primary microphone, and a speaker grill, so it offers stereo audio, and also comes with Dolby Atmos. It is the third OnePlus smartphone to support UFS 3.0 storage that offers 2x faster performance compared to UFS 2.1.

It has a glass back with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. We have the Glacier Blue color and also available in Frosted Silver as well. The 7T measures 8.13mm in thickness and weigh around 190grams.

It still has daily water-resistance so that the phone can withstand splashes and accidental spills, but it doesn’t have IP ratings. The whole hardware is powered by a 3800mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T which is 18% faster than Warp Charge 30. As per the company claims, the OnePlus 7T’s 3800 mAh battery will get to 70% in just half an hour.
