OnePlus 7 series phones bring a lot of new features to the table, and the most exciting part is 90Hz. The company markets the 90Hz display refresh rate as “Fluid Display.”
With a refresh rate higher than the traditional 60Hz, the OnePlus 7 Pro has smoother scrolling and animations. In general, the display remains a crucial element and determines how good something looks — Be it readability, photos, videos, and others.
In OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T, the company has managed to design an immersive display experience on the phone with 90Hz. If you are new to this term, the display refreshes 90 times every second making every movement, scroll, swipe more responsive and faster compared to other phones which come with 60Hz. It’s worth mentioning that once you get used to this, it will be hard to switch back to the 60Hz phones.
Class-leading display!
OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T both has HDR 10+ support makes its one of the best device for immersive media consumption. Setting a new standard, the OnePlus 7 Pro can play 4K High Dynamic Range content made for 4K UHD TVs with a more dynamic, detailed, and vivid viewing experience.
OnePlus has also partnered with Netflix to get the OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T display certified for Netflix HDR content. Moreover, the HDR10+ provides frame-by-frame adjustments for the best representation of contrast from the HDR source content. It’s worth mentioning that HDR10+ also produces 4000 nits of peak brightness, a massive rise of 3,000 nits compared to HDR10.
Both the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T features a user-adjustable Color Temperature slider to change the amount Blue light produced by the display. When the slider is moved towards the Warmest setting, the amount of Blue light emitted by the screen decreases up to 85 percent.
The OnePlus 7 Pro display has also received the Safety for Eyes certification from the VDE Testing and Certification Institute for its ability to filter out potentially harmful Blue Light.
The recently launched OnePlus 7T features a compelling Chromatic Reading Mode, which desaturates the screen to make it easier to read. Users can now view full-color content with added readability. Enable Reading Mode on any screen to optimize saturation, gamut, and the contrast ratio for improved clarity and comfort. For low-light comfort, an all-new internal luminescent material blocks 40% of blue light projection for safer, more comfortable nighttime use.
