realme launched the Realme 2 Pro smartphone in India last year running ColorOS 5.2 on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo) and updated it to Android 9.0 (Pie) based ColorOS 6 back in June. ColorOS 6.0 brought several features such as Chroma Boost Mode and Hal3 / Camera2 API support to the device.
realme has started rolling out RMX1801EX_11_C.25 with the latest November security patch to realme 2 Pro users. The update brings system-wide dark mode, redesigned notification center, realme laboratory and app clone support to more third-party apps. realme has already confirmed Android 10 roadmap for its devices and as per the schedule, realme 2 Pro is expected to get Android 10 update in Q3, 2020. The company is already working on an exclusive version of ColorOS 7 for realme devices that will offer near-stock Android experience.
