Last week a Redmi phone carrying model numbers M1912G7BE/M1912G7BC received 3C certification in China, and it was claimed to be a new version of Redmi Note 8 Pro with Snapdragon 730G processor and 27W fast charging. A lot of fans were Now, Lu Weibing president of the Redmi brand and vice president of Xiaomi in a reply to a comment about the phone said that the phone doesn’t exist.
This is not the first time the company has squashed the rumor. Couple of days back Xiaomi’s Chief Marketing Officer Anuj Sharma said that the company is not working on any such phone.

So, can’t we expect a Xiaomi phone to compete with the realme XT 730G (X2) that is launching in India next month? We will have to wait to know what the company is planning to fill the gap since there is only K20 in the 15 to 20k segment.
In the other news Xiaomi India MD Manu Jain announced that the Xiaomi India team is traveling to China to discuss 2020 plans with the co-founders, so we can expect new phones early next year.
#TeamIndia off to #China to discuss our amazing 2020 plans w/ co-founders! ✈
Hope to continue driving innovation in #smartphone & #IoT. Challenge ourselves & do things that have never been done before! 🤩🙏
