Nokia Mobile just posted a new teaser on its social channels that says that it will introduce the newest addition to its family on 5 December 2019. The event is said to happen in Cairo, Egypt. On the exact date in 2018, the company introduced the Nokia 8.1, which became one of the popular mid-range phones in recent times, mainly after price cut and the latest Android 10 update. This year, the company is expected to introduce the Nokia 8.2 at the December event.

We can expect the Nokia 8.2 to come with a smaller waterdrop notch while retaining the FHD+ HDR10 PureDisplay, improved rear cameras with ZEISS optics announced, faster Snapdragon 7 series processor (possibly Snapdragon 730), Android 10 out of the box, and a bigger battery compared to the 3500mAh battery on the Nokia 8.1.
The Nokia 2.3 (TA-1206) is also expected alongside, which is an upgrade to the Nokia 2.2, so we can expect faster processor, bigger battery and improved cameras, while retaining the similar HD+ screen at a competitive price.
We should know more details about the Nokia smartphone event in the coming weeks.
