Design

The design of the TWS 600 is quite different from other true wireless earphones in the market. The earbuds have a plastic look but have a unique cutout pattern. There is an LED status indicator housed in the on-ear control button that is present below the cutout and it works as expected. As usual, the microphone, HiFiMan branding, L/R indication are also present. The oval-shaped charging case too has the brand name, a USB Type-C port on the exterior and a battery status indicator on the interior.

When it comes to build quality, the earbuds predominantly sports a plastic look and doesn’t give the premium feel that a user expects. The charging case too sports a glossy metallic finish and the quality is decent. The construction is solid and the overall build quality is quite good.

Performance

HiFiMan TWS 600 has a “Topology Diaphragm” that is essentially a nano-coating applied to the surface, ensuring a natural and detailed sound. The earbuds feature a “Hi-tech magnet”, an advanced alloy voice coil for superior sound, and has a frequency response of 20Hz=20KHz. It is also IPX4 rated.

When it comes to connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and HiFiMan claims a transmission width of up to 150m. The range is quite good and in our testing, the connection was stable for up to 80 to 100 feet. Although it is not in accordance with the range mentioned by the company, it gets the job done.

With the on-ear controls, you can do a single tap to control the playback, double tap on the right earbud to increase the volume, and double tap on the left earbud to lower the volume. Voice assistant can be triggered by long-pressing the button. The on-ear controls work flawlessly, and we did not face any issues here.

The earbuds fit comfortably in your ears and don’t fall off easily. Sound is a subjective matter and in our testing with this product, the sound quality it delivered was impressive. It has a punchy bass with high-mids and the detail and clarity were great. The vocals were clear and you will enjoy listening to music on these wireless earbuds.  In our opinion, bass lovers will appreciate this product.

Battery life

In our usage, a single charge delivered around 4 to 5 hours of music playback and the bundled charging case delivers another 33 hours. The case can be charged with a USB Type-C cable and it takes around 1.5 hours for a full charge. The battery life is very good and won’t disappoint you.

Conclusion

HiFiMan TWS600 is priced at Rs. 12,999 on Amazon.in, but it is available for US$ 99 (Rs. 7030 approx.) at Amazon.com and HiFiMan Store. This true wireless earphones delivers amazing sound quality and battery life, and if you are a bass lover, the TWS600 won’t disappoint you. It checks almost all the boxes and if you are in the market for true wireless earbuds in this price range, then we recommend to check out this product.
