Xiaomi has claimed yet again the top spot for the Smart TV segment in Q3 2019 in the world, the International Data Corporation (IDC) reports. The MiTV saw a growth of 46% compared to the same quarter last year and an impressive 69% growth YoY.
The Xiaomi MiTV, launched back in 2018 in India with a lot of success, now has a market share of 33%. That is 19% greater market share than Samsung India and 20% greater than LG. The TV’s were launched as super affordable smart TV’s running their custom PatchWall 2.0 launcher over AndroidTV.
