Earlier this month, telecom operators Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Reliance Jio revised their prepaid plans and later they introduced unlimited calling to any operators. Now, Airtel has again revised some of the plans and has reintroduced the Rs. 558 prepaid plan with reduced validity, and is offering Amazon Prime membership with Rs. 349 prepaid plan.
Airtel’s Rs. 558 prepaid plan now offers 56 days validity instead of 82 days that was offered prior to tariff revision. The other benefits remain the same i.e., 3GB of data per day, 100 SMS, and Truly Unlimited Local, STD, and Roaming calls on any network, access to Wynk Music, Airtel XStream App Premium, and cashback on FASTag.
Also, Airtel is now bundling Amazon Prime membership with Rs. 349 per month prepaid plan which was earlier offered for Rs. 299 per month. In comparison, Reliance Jio’s Rs. 555 plan offers 1.5 GB of data per day, 3000 off-net mins for 84 days. So, this revised plan by Airtel should be beneficial for users who consume a lot of data.
The revised plans are already live and users can opt from all existing touchpoints.
