Black Shark 3 5G gaming phone with 90Hz display, Snapdragon 865, 12GB RAM to be announced on March 3


Update: Black Shark has confirmed 90Hz display with 270Hz touch sampling rate. The company says that the phone has single-finger touch response delay as low as 24ms and multi-finger touch response delay as low as 28ms. It will feature 4720mAh dual battery system with 65W fast charging that can charge 2780mAh battery capacity in just 15 minutes and 0-100% in 38 minutes.

The company also says that the phone has scored 620952 points on AnTuTu, and the listing confirms 612651 score, Android 10, 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, Quad HD+ (3120x 1440 pixels) screen.

After rumors, Black Shark has confirmed that Black Shark 3 gaming phone will be introduced in an online event in China on March 3rd. Last month the company had announced a partnership with Tencent Games, so the phone will be called the Tencent Black Shark 3. The company also said that this will be the first gaming centric smartphone with 5G support.

The phone should be powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 Mobile platform. Last week Black Shark brand manager posted a poll on Weibo revealing 5,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging that can charge the phone from 0-100% in 38 minutes and can still maintain charge over 800 full cycles. 65W fast charging has also been confirmed by 3C certification in China.

Recent Geekbench listing with the model number KLE-A0 revealed Snapdragon 865, 12GB RAM and Android 10 for the phone.
