Powering the realme 6 is an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SOC that has 2 Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.05GHz along with 6 Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz. For RAM, the realme 6 offers 4GB,6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X options and for storage, we have UFS 2.1-type 64GB or 128GB options. Keeping the device alive is 4300mAh battery that can be charged quickly with the included 30W fast charger. Software-wise, it is running realme UI v1.0 that is based on Android 10. The phone does feel fast and snappy for first impressions, but we need to test it further in the full review.

Starting with the front of the device, the realme 6 features a 6.5-inch 20:9 display, which is similar in size to its predecessor, except realme upgraded it to a FullHD+ resolution of 1080x 2400 pixels with a screen PPI of 405 and a refresh rate of a smooth 90Hz.

Instead of the mini-drop notch in the display, realme has opted to go for a single punch hole design on the top left of the device. The punch hole houses the 16MP f/2.0 camera with a Samsung S5K3P9 sensor and a lens that covers an angle of 79.3°. The main earpiece sits at the top edge of the display and bottom edge we see a small bezel. The top and side bezels are minimal.

The device’s build quality feels decent in the hand but not premium per se as the back material isn’t glass, instead it is made out of polycarbonate. The back did pick up fingerprints quickly (as expected with glossy finishes) and we would recommend using the included clear case.

On the right edge, we have only the power button that also contains the device’s capacitive fingerprint sensor. On the left side, we can see the volume up and down buttons which are nice and click-y. Above the volume buttons we see the slot for dual VoLTE capable SIMs and a dedicated microSD card tray. On the bottom edge of the phone, there is a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, speaker grill, and primary microphone.

Coming to the back of the realme 6, we can see the quad camera setup along with a single flash on its right. Starting with the main sensor, we have a 64MP f/1.8 Samsung S5KGW1SP03 CMOS sensor, a 8MP f/2.3 119.1° wide angle sensor, a 2MP f/2.4 Macro sensor and lastly, a 2MP f/2.4 monochromatic sensor that is used for depth sensing. It has EIS video stabilisation and it can shoot up to 4K at 30fps and up to 1080p at 120fps for slow motion. Here are some camera samples.

The realme 6 also comes in Comet White color, starts  at Rs. 12999 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and will go on sale on March 11th from Flipkart, realme.com as well as offline stores.
