Apple’s 2020 4.7-inch iPhone could be called iPhone SE (2020); launch imminent

Earlier this week, a report surfaced that Apple could announce the iPhone 9/iPhone SE 2 on April 15th, 2020 and the sales could begin on April 22md, 2020. Now, a new report suggests that the new smartphone from Apple is said to be called iPhone SE (2020) instead of the rumored iPhone 9 and Apple could start taking orders as soon as tomorrow.

The iPhone SE (2020) is said to come in three color options – White, Black, PRODUCT (Red) and is said to come in three storage variants – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. There are said to be five cases that will be made available for the iPhone SE (2020) – Black silicone, White silicone, Black leather, Red leather, and Midnight Blue leather.

It is expected to be powered by the Six-core A13 Bionic 64-bit processor, the same chip powering the iPhone 11 Series. The design is expected to be similar to the iPhone 8 and this will most likely be true as earlier today, the Apple Store leaked the iPhone SE name in the “Belkin InvisiGlass Ultra Screen Protection for iPhone SE/8/7” listing that makes reference to the iPhone 8/7.

The new iPhone SE (2020) is said to be priced starting at US$ 399 (Rs. 30,270 approx.). Furthermore, according to previous renders surfaced, the iPhone SE (2020) is said to sport an LCD screen and this time around, the 3D touch is not said to make a return. It is said to measure 138.5 x 67.4 x 7.8 mm in size and 8.6mm including the rear camera bump, and just to compare, iPhone 8 measures 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm in size.

Apple could start taking orders for the iPhone SE (2020) as soon as tomorrow, but it is not confirmed yet. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, it could be further delayed as well, and we should know more information in the coming days.
