Samsung Galaxy M10, M10s and M20 discontinued in India

Samsung launched its then online-only Galaxy M Series smartphones in January 2019 and has rapidly expanded the lineup, with the recent launch being the Galaxy M21. Now, 3 smartphones in the Galaxy M lineup – Galaxy M10, Galaxy M10s, and Galaxy M20 have been removed from Samsung India’s official website.

The three smartphones – Galaxy M10, M10s, and M20 are also not included in the revised smartphone price list that was released recently, suggesting discontinuation in India and probably soon in other markets as well. Samsung India website now only lists Galaxy M21, Galaxy M31, Galaxy M30, Galaxy M30s, and Galaxy M30.

To recall, the Galaxy M20 comes with a 6.3-inch FHD+ infinity-V display and is powered by the latest Exynos 7904 octa-core 14nm processor, while Galaxy M10 has a 6.2-inch HD+ infinity-V display and is powered by Exynos 7870 14nm octa-core processor. These run Android 8.1 (Oreo) with  Samsung Experience version 9.5 UX. The Galaxy M20 comes with a fingerprint sensor as well as Face Unlock, while the Galaxy M10 lacks the fingerprint sensor.

Both the phones feature a 13-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary rear camera has a 5-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens. Both these feature dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots and Dual 4G VoLTE. The Galaxy M20 packs a 5000mAh battery with type-C fast charging and 15W in-box charger, while the M10 comes with a 3430mAh battery.

The Galaxy M10s, on the other hand, has a 64-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V display, is powered by new Exynos 7884B Octa-Core processor and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI. It has a single 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera with face unlock. The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots and packs a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
