Back in 2018, Xiaomi opened the Mi Home Experience Store where it showcased several of its smart home products that were launched in China and lately, the company has been rapidly expanding that lineup as well. On similar lines, Xiaomi is introducing its Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner in India tomorrow.
Xiaomi India’s tweet reads “How many times do you clean your house every day? What if you could do it, without actually doing it yourself? #SmartCleaning solution for your smart home launching tomorrow. Any guesses, Mi fans?” and the teaser video shows a glimpse of the Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner. There are many versions of this product, but Xiaomi is expected to launch the 2019 model with Laser Detect Systems or the company could come up with an entirely new product designed for India, just like the Mi Beard Trimmer. We should know the pricing and availability information once it is unveiled tomorrow.

In case you missed, Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner launched back in 2016 in China comes with a Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) which is able to scan its surroundings 360 degrees 1800 times per second. It uses simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm to map out how the home is laid out, calculates the best cleaning path and is equipped with 12 sensors and a host of advanced features.
Similar to other Mi Ecosystem products, Mi Robot Vacuum integrates with the Mi Home app. It allows users to switch on and control Mi Robot Vacuum remotely, and also set regular cleaning schedules.
