A week back OnePlus officially took the wraps off its OnePlus 8 Series – OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 pro recently in an online event with global pricing and availability. However, Indian prices were not unveiled then.
Recently, through the Red Cable Club, the company revealed its pricing for India, and we are pleasantly surprised. Since we have the number now, the OnePlus 8 series is a lot more competitive than you might have thought based on the US pricing.

Right now OnePlus 8 Pro is undoubtedly the best Android flagship undercutting other devices including Galaxy S20 series, Note 10 series and much more. To reiterate, the OnePlus 8 Pro has a 6.78-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED edge-to-edge display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support with a tuned color accuracy rating of JNCD around 0.4.
It also has a dedicated MEMC chip that transforms standard videos at 24fps up to 120 fps. According to the company claims, it is ideal for watching sports and action-packed content since MEMC reduces motion blur, stuttering, and ghosting for unmatched clarity.
The 8 Pro has a 48MP rear camera with a Sony IMX689 sensor and OIS, features a 48MP 120° ultra-wide-angle camera with 3cm macro mode, 8MP 3X Telephoto Camera that also supports 30x digital zoom, OIS and a 5MP mono sensor.
For the first time, the OnePlus 8 Pro comes with IP68 rating and Wireless fast charging and Wireless reverse charging. The phone is powered by a 4510mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T Fast Charging (5V/6A) as well.
The OnePlus 8 Pro comes in Onyx Black (gloss-finish glass), Glacial Green (matte glass) and Ultramarine Blue (gloss-finish glass) colors.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 8 has a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. OnePlus says that it has 4096 levels of auto-brightness control and has an A+ Display rating from DisplayMate.
It has a 48MP rear camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor and OIS, same as the predecessor, features a 16MP 116° ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor. Unlike it’s bigger sibling, it doesn’t support wireless charging. Under the hood, it has 4300mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T fast charging that can charge the phone from 1% to 50% in just 22 minutes.
The OnePlus 8 Series is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 SoC with an X55 5G modem that supports both NSA and SA 5G. Both the smartphones have retained alert slider, has a glass back with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus 8 comes in Onyx Black (gloss-finish glass), Glacial Green (matte glass) and lnterstellar Glow (gloss-finish glass) colors.
