To compete with the Play Store and App Store, HUAWEI has been working hard to bring partners onto its AppGallery. Today they announced that AppGallery will be onboarding Hungama, a popular digital entertainment company in India, to be its prime online streaming channel.
Ever since HUAWEI was forced to abandon Google Play Services for its smartphones, they have been trying to sign on partners to expand their own AppGallery services. By signing on Hungama, HONOR and Huawei mobile users will have access to 10 million songs and music videos in over 20 Indian and international languages via Hungama Music. Hungama Play, on the other hand, will give access to 5000 films in Hindi, English and regional languages, more than 1500 short films, original shows, 7500+ hours of kids and TV content and 150,000+ short-format videos.
