While some of us having very few tabs open in our Chrome browser, there are those who keeps tens of tabs open. For both types of users, Google is bringing a new tool called Tab Groups in their browser that will easily help users organise their tabs in groups, along with colour tagging and label options.
With Tab Groups, a user can simply right click any tab to find the option to add a new group. Once a group is created, more tabs can be added to the group and the groups themselves will have organisation tools. Right-clicking on the group icon will bring up a menu window, which provides options to label the group, adding colour tags, etc. Chrome will even allow emoji to be added as a group label.
Tag Grouping will be saved when Chrome is closed and reopened. The feature is available in Chrome Beta from today and Google will be gradually rolling it out to the stable version that is arriving in the coming weeks. It will be available for Chrome on desktop across Chrome OS, Windows, Mac and Linux.
