Update — May 22, 2020: Redmi today confirmed that the Redmi 10X Pro will feature quad rear cameras with OIS and 30x zoom. The phone will also have 1 minute long exposure control for shooting light trails.
The company in partnership with MediaTek to use Dimensity 820’s ISP and depth-optimized MACE, which is Xiaomi self-developed deep learning framework to optimize the cameras. The company said that there are several presets that uses multiple sets of parameters to shoot light trails without a tripod with one key, and also add several effects post shooting.
The Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G will also offer dual SIM 5G support, thanks to Dimensity 820 SoC.
Earlier — May 18, 2020: Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today confirmed that it will introduce Redmi 10X series with the latest Dimensity 820 SoC in China on May 26th. Redmi China General Manager, Lu Weibing said that the 5G smartphone in the new X series with Dimensity 820 will live up to expectations just like the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
The company confirmed White, Blue, Gold and Purple colors for the phone with red colored power button. The company says that it scored 415,672 points in AnTuTu benchmark.
The company is said to launch the Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X Pro smartphones in the 10X series with the Pro version featuring 48MP quad rear cameras and the standard 10X featuring 48MP triple rear cameras. The 10X with the model number M2004J7AC got certified on TENAA last week.
