Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today introduced the Redmi 10X 5G and 10X Pro 5G smartphone as well as Redmi 10X 4G smartphones in China, as it had promised. The Redmi 10X 5G series features a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED water-drop notch screen from Samsung, is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC with built-in 5G SA/NSA and will also support dual SIM 5G support (via OTA update in July).
Both the 10X and 10X Pro models have a 48-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, but only the 10X Pro comes with an 8-megapixel telephoto camera for 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom. It also has a 5-megapixel 2cm macro sensor, while the 10X 5G comes with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and lacks macro and telephoto camera. These pack a 4520mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging for the 10X 5G and 33W for the 10X Pro 5G.
