HP Pavilion Gaming 16 and OMEN 15 gaming laptops with Intel and AMD CPU options announced


HP has announced two new gaming laptops, updating models in their OMEN lineup and their Pavilion Gaming laptops. The OMEN 15 features both Intel 10th Gen and AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors this time, along with up to a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super with MAX-Q Design. The Pavilion Gaming 16 feature up to 10th Gen Core i7 processors and up to a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with Max-Q design.

For the OMEN 15, HP is offering both Intel and AMD CPU options this time. Users can configure their laptop up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 H-series processors or up to an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H-series Processor. The GPU can be configured up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super with MAX-Q Design, RAM up to 32 GB DDR4, and 1 TB PCIe SSD or dual PCIe SSD.

There are many screen options too for the 15.6-inch display too, including OLED, UHD 120 Hz, or FHD 300 Hz. HP has designed a 80-degree flat hinge and the displays can also be NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible.

The HP Pavilion Gaming 16 features a 16-inch, 300 nits, micro-edge bezel display that can be configured up to 1080p 144 Hz panel. For internals, the Pavilion Gaming 16, HP offers up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with Max-Q design GPU and features Wi-Fi 6 support.

The HP OMEN 15 is expected to available from today on HP.com for a starting price of $999.99 (Approx. Rs. 75,465). The Pavilion Gaming 16 is expected to be available in June for a starting price of $799.99 (Approx. Rs. 60,375).
