HTC has scheduled an event on June 16th in Taiwan to introduce a new smartphone. The company also says “1+1 unlimited possibilities”, and the invite has Vive icon along with the HTC icon. It is not clear if the company will introduce two new smartphones or a phone and a vive product.
The invite also confirms a smartphone with a punch-hole screen and quad rear cameras, similar to the rumored Desire 20 Pro that surfaced recently. Based on the latest rumors, the phone will pack a FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, 6GB of RAM and run Android 10. The sketch leak revealed a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, so it will likely come with an LCD screen.
We should know more details about the new HTC smartphone next Tuesday.
