Update: June 24 – Xiaomi has announced the Redmi 9 smartphone for the Chinese markets in 4GB RAM with 64GB version that costs 799 yuan (US$ 113 / Rs. 8,540 approx.), 999 yuan (US$ 141 / Rs. 10,675 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 1199 yuan (US$ 170 / Rs. 12,815 approx.). It also comes in new Lotus Pink color.
Earlier: After an online listing Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi 9 smartphone in Europe. It has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD water-drop, MediaTek Helio G80 8nm SoC, 13-megapixel primary rear camera, 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens, 5-megapixel 4cm macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
It has a textured anti-fingerprint back, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and pack a 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging, but comes with 10W charger in the box.
