With people staying at home due to the lockdown, usage of OTT (over-the-top) apps have increased and at the same time, OTT platforms aggregator have made searching for content easier as well. On similar lines, Flixjini which is an aggregator for OTT platforms has now added a new ‘Discover’ feature that will show users new movies and shows to watch in a simple, easy, and quick manner.
The new ‘Discover’ feature on the Flixjini app comes with a swipe UI that helps users discover new movies and shows from various OTT platforms. It uses multiple signals from a users’ taste around language, genres, tags, to content viewed, liked or disliked, to show the latest content.
Further, the filter option in the ‘Discover’ tab allows users to choose to view only free content or all content, select the content type (movies or tv shows), sources, language, and genre. The new feature is live on the Flixjini app and is available to download from the Play Store and App Store.
