After the Redmi 9 that was announced recently in Europe and China, Xiaomi has announced Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A smartphones in Malaysia, after recent rumours. These phones pack a 6.53-inch LCD Dot Drop notch screen and pack a 5000mAh battery. The Redmi 9C is the first smartphone to be powered by 2.3GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio G35 processor and the Redmi 9A is powered by 2GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio G25 processor.
The Redmi 9C comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor and also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Redmi 9A features a single 13-megapixel rear camera. Both the phones come with a 5-megapixel front camera.

The Redmi 9C comes in Twilight Blue, Midnight Gray and Sunrise Orange colors, is priced at RM 429 (US$ 100 / Rs. 7,560 approx.). It will go on sale through Lazada later in July. The Redmi 9A comes in Granite Gray, Sky Blue and Peacock Green colours, is priced at RM 359 (US$ 83.8 / Rs. 6,325 approx.). It will go on sale in Lazada Mega Sale from July 7th.
